User Permissions & Application Accesses
In order to provide all features of Our Application, We may collect the following information with your prior permission:
- Information regarding your location (GPS/Network coordinates): We access device location to provide features of Our Service, such as map pins, geographic coordinate selection, and customizing destination recommendations. This information is processed server-side via Google Places API and stored securely. You can enable or disable location access at any time through Your Device settings.
- Push Notifications & Alerts: With your consent, we access the notification service of your device to send you real-time alerts, updates, and informative communications regarding your trips, expense updates, or collaborative comments. You can customize or disable notifications at any time via the device settings.
- Device Storage & Media: We may access your device storage/gallery with your permission if you choose to select, upload, or customize images for your user profile or trip background covers.
Use of Your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service: Including monitoring the usage of our Service.
- To manage Your Account: To manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
- To contact You: To contact You by email, push notifications, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including security updates.
- To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.

- With Service Providers: We share data with core providers (like Firebase for authentication, MongoDB for cloud storage, and Google Places for autocomplete location queries).

Retention of Your Personal Data
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We apply different retention periods to different categories of Personal Data based on the purpose of processing and legal obligations:
- Account Information: Retained for the duration of your account relationship plus up to 24 months after account closure.
- Customer Support Data: Up to 24 months from the date of ticket closure.
- Usage Data & Server logs: Up to 24 months for analytics, security monitoring, and troubleshooting.
When retention periods expire, We securely delete or anonymize Personal Data so it cannot be linked back to You.
Delete Your Personal Data
You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You. Our Service gives You the ability to delete certain information about You (like trips, checklists, and profile details) from within the Service. You can also contact us at our email address to request permanent deletion of your account and all associated records.

The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 16. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 16 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.
